For example: I have heard a lot about the book Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. The thought of a deadly touch gave me lots of anxiety, so I really didn't think I wanted to read something that put me on edge so much. THEN I saw this....
You see what I am talking about? I am in the middle of this book and it is as good as this trailer makes it out to be and maybe more!
Keep your eyes out for my review!!
Have a Happy Tuesday!
I think that if more books had trailers and they played as commercials on TV then there would be a whole lot of readers in the world!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing book trailers. It's very helpful for authors. If interested, check out mine (http://youtu.be/0M4S54W1XMg) for the story "Princess Dancer." This is part of the Beyond Grimm collection of updated fairy tales.
Here's the information on the book:
From the far-ranging imaginations of Book View Café authors comes this delirious collection of classic tales newly twisted into dark, dangerous, and occasionally hilarious re-tellings. From the golden isles of Greece to the frozen north, from fairytale castles to urban slums, join us on an unforgettable journey! These are not your grandmother's fairy tales.
Stories from Patricia Rice, Sherwood Smith, Laura Anne Gilman, Judith Tarr and more.
It'd be great to have you and your readers stop by for a look.
Cheers,
Sue Lange
